You're screwed either way If 469 passe...Right. You're screwed either way If 469 passes, though, it will create a huge vested 3rd party right where none existed before except for post 1993 adoptees. There is no way now that we can figure out how to pull those people out of their blackhole, but at least pre-1993 adoptees still don't have to deal with vetoes. HB1201 does just that, it requires a consent be on file before one can gain access and in my opinion does nothing. <br /><br />Neither are shining examples of how the code should be structured but of the two I would prefer SB469as it is less likely that an intersted party will bother with a veto. Whereas expecting one to actually file a consent is even less likely.<br /><br />Indiana Adult Adoptee whi is still screwed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
